Two things, lack of servers and a big hook.

From the time the game launched there weren't enough people hosting to keep people happy. Every 1 in 8 people has to be a host but very few people who wanted to play knew how/were willing to open their ports and host a game.

The game has gotten somewhat of a minigame status since it has only 3 small singleplayer modes and one multiplayer mode. Alot of people were unwilling to adapt to the thought of having a limit on their moves and felt it needed more special maneuvers and attacks. Although its an extremely good game, it lacked the real hook to keep people coming back for more, and those that did found themselves out of hosts to keep the games open.

I really wish that more people were online because I loved dominating... I mean playing... this game and I didnt get nearly my fill of it before it faded. One of these days we'll have to have an AHOVI rebirth and get all the old players together for a few matches. Wink

I cant just wait for the ebirth cuz it seems very fun but none is playing...
